Overview
Enjoy a Day trip from Fez to Chefchaouen the blue-painted village in the Rif Mountains of Morocco. Wander around the “medina,” which is home to many blue-and-white-painted houses—a custom carried over from the Spanish colonists of the Middle Ages. Savour the ambiance of Moorish and Spanish architecture, visit the main plaza, mosque, and ‘kasbah’ (fortress) from the 18th century, and use your free time to dine, explore, and shop at the souks.
Itinerary
The tour starts at 8:00 A.M from your Hotel or Riad. You will find the driver waiting for you with an air condition car and drive to the blue city.
On your way From Fez to chefchaouen you will be stunned by the view and the cool weather where you can see a dam called Achahhed, mountains, and the forest that is surrounded by the blue city.
While Arriving chefchaouen you will have 4H Time Free to feel relief because of the blue color and learn a lot about the handcraft of the local people, the traditional Berber dress, the traditional and the culture.
The next step is visiting Plaza Uta El Hammam, Kasbah which was built in 18 century, and El-Masjid El-Aadam which was built in 1471 by the founder of the city Ali ibn Rachid Alami.
